Bandipora, April 20: Member of Legislative Assembly from Bandipora Nizamuddin Bhat on Monday visited Government Higher Secondary School Aloosa where he interacted with students staff and members of the local community.
In a statement issued by the office of the MLA Bandipora, an official spokesperson said Bhat was accorded a warm welcome by the school administration, students and NCC cadets.
During his visit, he reviewed the functioning of the institution and expressed satisfaction with the academic environment and praised the staff for improving the teaching learning process in the institution.
Addressing the students, Bhat stressed the importance of both career building and character development, urging them to stay focused and disciplined. He also cautioned them against distractions, particularly the growing menace of substance abuse.
As part of his visit, the MLA donated a smart board to the school to enhance digital learning facilities. He also assured support for upgrading the computer laboratory and announced plans to install a synthetic turf-based volleyball court on the campus.
Principal of the institution, Shabeer Hussain Parray, expressed gratitude to the MLA for his contribution and support towards improving educational infrastructure.
