Bandipora, Jan 08: The Additional District Programme Coordinator (ADPC), MGNREGA and Assistant Commissioner Panchayats (ACP) Bandipora conducted an extensive field visit to Block Bonkoot to review proposed and ongoing developmental works being executed under the VB GRAM G initiative.
During the visit, the officers inspected several works currently under execution and assessed the feasibility of upcoming projects sanctioned under VB GRAM G, aimed at strengthening rural infrastructure and improving public amenities. Interactions were held with field functionaries, local residents, and job card holders engaged at the worksites, while the physical progress of works was reviewed on the ground.
The visiting officers also inspected the under-construction Panchayat Ghar at Panner, where they evaluated the pace and quality of ongoing construction.
Emphasis was laid on the timely completion of all sanctioned works in strict adherence to prescribed technical specifications and quality standards.
On the occasion, the officers underscored the importance of transparency, community participation, and strict compliance with the guidelines governing the implementation of developmental schemes. Necessary on-the-spot directions were issued to address existing bottlenecks and ensure the effective and optimal utilization of public resources.
The visit reflects the district administration’s continued commitment to strengthening rural infrastructure and promoting sustainable and inclusive development across Block Bonkoot under the VB GRAM G initiative.
