Bandipora, 10 December : The Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Bandipora today conducted an outreach programme at Block Aloosa, covering Panchayats Kema and Ashtingoo, and inspected various work sites proposed for execution under MGNREGA scheme prior to issuing Administrative Approval to these works.
During the visit, the ACD interacted with the local inhabitants who apprised him of their requirements and the necessity of the works proposed for execution in the area. After verifying the genuineness of the proposed works, the ACD assured that all feasible and genuine works will be taken up on priority to ensure timely creation of assets and generation of employment for the local population.
He further emphasized that the availability of labour demand in the concerned Panchayats will be duly considered so that maximum wage employment is provided through these works.
The ACD directed concerned officials to prioritize works related to agriculture, allied sectors, and Natural Resource Management (NRM), and to ensure that all approved works are executed strictly as per MGNREGA guidelines with proper monitoring and transparency.
