Rabita Madaaris Finalizes Exam Schedule for Madrassahs in JK at Executive Council Meeting

Srinagar, Oct 27: The Executive Council of Rabita Madaaris Islamia Arabia Darul Uloom Deoband Branch Jammu and Kashmir convened its meeting under the chairmanship of Maulana Muhammad Rehmatullah Mir Qasmi, Rector Darul Uloom Rahimya Bandipora.

Rabita Madaaris is a federation of Islamic seminaries in Jammu and Kashmir that oversees and regulates education across affiliated madrasas of Darul uloom Deoband. It conducts examinations, issues degrees, and ensures a uniform curriculum for Islamic studies in these madrassahs.

An official spokesperson of the Rabita Madaaris, Mufti Sajad Hussain said the meeting was attended by all members of the Executive Council of Rabita Madaaris along with district presidents from across Jammu and Kashmir.

Spokesperson said the primary agenda of the meeting was to discuss and finalize arrangements for the annual examinations in all affiliated madrasahs. “After detailed deliberations, the dates for the annual examinations were fixed from 25th Rajab al-Murajjab 1447 AH to 20th Sha’ban al-Mu’azzam 1447 AH.),” he informed.

A 16-member Examination Board was constituted to oversee the conduct of the examinations. In addition, separate zones were designated for Hifz and Nazra examinations across all districts.

According to the spokesperson, Examination committees were also formed for various departments, including Arabic Studies, Hifz, Nazra, Tajweed, and the Holy Qur’an.

All madrasahs have been directed to submit the details of their respective grades to the district officials by the end of this month, so that consolidated lists can be forwarded to the liaison office via email at rabitahmadarisjk@gmail.com.

The meeting concluded with a call for coordination and diligence to ensure smooth and transparent conduct of examinations across the Union Territory.
