Imtiyaz Parray Calls on LG Sinha; Raises Key Issues in Sonawari
Srinagar, March 6: Senior Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party leader Imtiyaz Parray, accompanied by party colleague and Role Model Sarpanch Rather Mejraj, met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday to discuss several pressing public concerns in the Sonawari constituency.
A party spokesperson said during the meeting, Parray urged the Lieutenant Governor to upgrade the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Hajin to a Sub-District Hospital, citing the need for better healthcare facilities in the region.
He also highlighted the urgent need for infrastructure development, including Road erosion along the River Jhelum Bund in Hajin, Non-functional PHE filtration plant in Hajin, affecting water supply, Construction of a bridge near Eidgah Hajin over River Jhelum, Mining concerns at Sader Koot Balla in Bandipora, Construction of a footbridge at Sumbal Bazar to ease pedestrian movement and establishment of a J&K Bank branch at Nowgam in Bandipora to improve banking services.
Parray stressed the need for immediate intervention to resolve these longstanding issues, which continue to affect the daily lives of the people in Sonawari. He expressed confidence in the administration’s commitment to development and urged prompt action to address these grievances.
According to party spokesperson Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha assured Parray that the administration is dedicated to the welfare and progress of Sonawari. He acknowledged the concerns raised and pledged to take necessary measures to resolve them at the earliest.
