Congress Appoints Sarfaraz Ahmad Reshi as President of Bandipora Town Block

Bandipora, February 24: The Bandipora unit of Congress Party Monday appointed Sarfaraz Ahmad Reshi as the President of the Town Block Bandipora.

The decision was made during a meeting led by senior party leader Inamul Haq Bhat, attended by all members of the town committee, reflecting the party’s commitment to strengthening its local leadership.

The newly formed committee for the Town Block Bandipora includes Vice Presidents:Shah Zahir, Shabir Ahmad Gadda and Mohammad Yawer Waza, General Secretary : Mohammad Shafi Ganie,Organizer : Mushtaq Ahmed Dar, and Media Incharge : Mehrajuddin Mir.

Inamul Haq Bhat highlighted the importance of empowering local leadership to reinforce the party’s foundation. He stated, “Appointing dedicated individuals like Sarfaraz Ahmad Reshi is pivotal to our mission of strengthening the party at the grassroots level.”

Spokesperson said this development follows a series of organizational changes within the Congress Party in Bandipora. Recently, the party restructured its leadership in Bankoot Block and Aloosa Block, appointing Mushtaq Ahmed Lone and Ab Rashid Mir as the Block Presidents, with the consensus of all Halqa presidents.These efforts are part of a broader strategy to rejuvenate the party’s base in the valley,focusing on addressing local issues and fostering community engagement.
