Bandipora police pays rich tributes to Martyr DySP Aman Kumar Thakur on his Martyrdom anniversary

Bandipora Feb-24: Bandipora police on Monday paid rich tributes to the Martyr DySP Aman Kumar Thakur who laid down his life in the line of duty and attained martyrdom in an anti-terrorist operation at Turigam Kulgam on same day in 2019 .

An official spokesperson  said on the occasion, the commemoration parade was held at District Police Lines Bandipora and floral wreaths were laid at the Martyrs memorial as a mark of respect for his supreme sacrifice and for safeguarding integrity and sovereignty of the nation.

On this occasion SSP Bandipora Harmeet Singh Mehta-JKPS along with other officers of Bandipora police paid their homage by placing floral wreaths at the Martyr Memorial.SSP Bandipora on behalf of Bandipora police lauded the commitment and devotion of DySP  Aman Thakur towards his professional obligations and shall always be remembered.
