Bandipora, Feb 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (JKReTTF), District Bandipora, has conducted its district elections, leading to the appointment of new office bearers.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Convener, Spokesperosn said in the elections, Mushtaq Ahmad Hajam from Education Zone Quilmuqam was elected as the District President of JKReTTF Bandipora.
Alongside him, several key office bearers have been appointed to lead the organization including Hammid Hussain Lone elected as District General Secretary, Wani Fayaz Ahmad elected as District Financial Secretary and Sheikh Mujtahid-Ul-Islam elected as District Media Secretary
Spokesperson said to ensure broad representation and effective decision-making, five executive members from each of the five education zones—Bandipora, Quilmuqam, Hajin, Sumbal, and Gurez—have been nominated as District Executive Members.
Additionally, zonal bodies have been formed for two educational zones including Mohammad Qasim Shah as Zonal President, Zone Bandipora, Wani Raja as Zonal President, Zone Quilmuqam.
He said the entire election process was conducted under the supervision of JKReTTF JK UT Chairman, Khalid Rafeeq Bhat.
The newly elected team has pledged to work diligently towards addressing teachers’ concerns and ensuring improvements in the education sector across District Bandipora.
Spokesperson said the JKReTTF Bandipora leadership reaffirmed its commitment to advocating for teachers’ rights, policy improvements, and better academic infrastructure, aiming for a progressive and student-centric education system in the district.
