BANDIPORA, JUNE 4, 2025: Jammu and Kashmir’s Minister for Education, Health & Medical Education, and Social Welfare, Sakina Itoo, on Wednesday conducted a detailed review of the education sector during her visit to Bandipora.
Chairing a high-level meeting at the Conference Hall, the Minister emphasized the need to strengthen educational infrastructure and improve learning outcomes in the district. She held discussions with senior officials on key challenges facing the School Education Department.
According to a statement issued by Directorate of School Education Department, Itoo distributed regularisation orders to Contingent Paid Workers (CPWs) in the presence of Hon’ble MLA Bandipora, Advocate Nizamuddin Bhat, and Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Qadri.
The event was attended by Director School Education Kashmir, G.N. Itoo; Project Director Samagra Shiksha, Bhawani Rakwal; Joint Director School Education (North), Tanveer; and Chief Education Officer Bandipora, Ab Rashid Mir.
During the function, Mr. G.N. Itoo and Mr. Bhawani Rakwal also handed over transition orders to several Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers.
Director School Education, Mr. G.N. Itoo, issued several on-spot directions aimed at strengthening departmental functioning, while CEO Bandipora briefed the dignitaries on the operational status of education in the district. A separate session was also held in the CEO’s office to deliberate on pressing issues and proposed interventions.
Spokesperson said the visit marked a collaborative effort between various departments, including the Directorate of School Education Kashmir, Samagra Shiksha, District Administration Bandipora, and the Information & PR Department.
