RSETI Anantnag Concludes Training for 13 Candidates under JKREGP Scheme

Anantnag, Jan 06: Jammu and Kashmir Bank's Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Anantnag concluded the training of 13 candidates on Saturday under the JKREGP scheme sponsored by the Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board.

As per the statement, this initiative plays a pivotal role in fostering self-employment and promoting local entrepreneurship, as candidates underwent comprehensive training under the General EDP program to equip them with the necessary skills for initiating and managing their independent ventures, thereby contributing to employment generation in the region.

The program as per statement garnered substantial financial support, with JK Bank providing a capital grant of 94.52 lakh rupees, complemented by a generous subsidy of 33.08 lakh rupees from the Khadi and Village Industries Board. "This collaborative effort underscores the commitment of both institutions to supporting local entrepreneurs and boosting economic growth," it said.

"As part of the program, the candidates were awarded certificates, symbolizing their successful completion of the training. Additionally, they were sensitized to the principles of self-dependency, effective communication, and risk-taking, instilling in them the confidence and knowledge required to navigate the entrepreneurial landscape," the statement added.

The Director of JKBRSETI Anantnag, along with the senior manager from JK Bank, while speaking on the occasion highlighted the paramount importance of self-employment in today's dynamic economic scenario. “The insights shared aimed to inspire and guide the candidates on their entrepreneurial journeys,” spokesperson added.

Suhaib, Branch Manager of JK Bank was the guest of honour on the occasion.
