Pulwama Police Seize 03 vehicles involved in Illegal Mining Activities; Case Registered

PULWAMA, May 12: Continued its drive against illegal mining activities; J&K Police seized 03 vehicles involved in unauthorized extraction during an operation conducted at Nallah Rambi area of Pulwama.

During the operation, a JCB machine, a dumper and a tractor involved in illegal extraction activities were seized by the police party. In this connection, a case FIR No. 59/2026 under section 303(2) BNS and 03 PPD Act has been registered and investigation has been taken up.

J&K Police reiterated their firm commitment towards curbing illegal mining activities, emphasizing that such unlawful acts not only cause severe environmental degradation but also lead to exploitation of natural resources. The public has also been urged to cooperate with law enforcement agencies by reporting illegal mining activities.
