Awantipora Police Conduct Anti-Drug Awareness Programmes under NMBA

Awantipora, May 12: Continuing its efforts under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Police organized a series of drug awareness programmes at different educational institutions across the district to educate students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy and responsible life.

Police Post Toll Plaza organized an awareness programme at Evergreen Public School Cheroo, where students and staff actively participated. The speakers highlighted the social and health-related consequences of drug addiction and urged students to stay away from narcotics.

Similarly, Police Post Reshipora conducted an awareness programme at Princeton International School Dogripora. During the programme, participants were sensitized about the dangers of substance abuse and the collective role of society in combating the menace of drugs.

Meanwhile, Police Station Tral organized an awareness programme at Government Middle School Laru Jageer Tral. The programme focused on creating awareness among students regarding the ill effects of drug abuse and encouraging them to contribute towards building a drug free society.

The participants appreciated the efforts of Police in conducting such awareness initiatives for the betterment of society.
