Awantipora, April 26: Continuing its efforts against drug menace under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Police Station Tral today destroyed illicit poppy cultivation at Laru Jagir, Tral.
The drive was carried out in coordination with the Revenue and Agriculture Departments, during which the illegal poppy crop was completely eradicated.
In this connection, FIR No. 47/2026 has been registered and investigation has been taken up.
General public is once again requested to cooperate with Police and share any information related to drug cultivation or trafficking to ensure a drug free society.
