PAMPORE, July 15: MLA Pampore, Retired Justice Hasnain Masoodi, accompanied by Director Rural Development Department Kashmir Riyaz Ahmad visited various locations including Pullpar Kadlabal, Galander and Bagander areas of Saffron Town Pampore to inspect and identify suitable land for the construction of a new Block Development Office (BDO) building.
During the visit, the officials finalized a site for the construction of a new Block Development Office (BDO) building and inspected the land earmarked for the expansion of Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Pampore.
Speaking to Kashmir Convener, MLA Pampore Hasnain Masoodi said the National Conference government, led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, is committed to accelerating development across Jammu and Kashmir and ensuring that people benefit from improved public infrastructure and essential services.
He said that land has already been identified for the expansion of Sub-District Hospital Pampore, where a separate OPD building will soon be constructed to enhance healthcare facilities and cater to the growing needs of the local population.
The MLA further said that the proposed new Block Development Office building will improve administrative functioning and strengthen the implementation of rural development programmes in the area.
He said the purpose of the visit was to identify land for key developmental projects aimed at strengthening healthcare and administrative infrastructure in Pampore town. The proposed projects are expected to significantly improve public service delivery and contribute to the overall development of the town. Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Pulwama Arshad Ahmad and BDO Pampore Saima Ramzan were also present on the occasion.
