Jalandhar, July 8: In response to the rapidly evolving business landscape shaped by artificial intelligence, digital finance and global commerce, Lovely Professional University (LPU) has announced a range of industry-integrated BBA and B.Com programmes designed to equip students with future-ready skills and practical business exposure.
Offered through the Mittal School of Business, the undergraduate programmes combine classroom learning with experiential training, industry partnerships and professional certifications to enhance employability and prepare graduates for emerging careers in business, finance and management.
The university said the programmes incorporate live projects, internships, industry collaborations, workshops, hackathons, guest lectures, online certification courses, undergraduate research, incubation projects, educational visits, study-abroad opportunities and hands-on business activities such as live stock trading, drop-shipping projects and real-world business problem-solving.
Among the key offerings are B.Com in FinTech and Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with Paytm, B.Com (Management Accounting & International Finance) integrated with the US-CMA qualification, and B.Com (International Accounting) integrated with the UK-ACCA pathway. These programmes are aimed at developing expertise in digital finance, international accounting, taxation, financial planning and AI-enabled business solutions.
The university has also introduced specialised BBA programmes in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Cargo, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Digital Marketing, Business Analytics and Financial Markets. Students will gain practical exposure through business simulations, entrepreneurship projects and market-oriented learning experiences to prepare for careers in consulting, finance, logistics, marketing, technology and corporate management.
In addition to academics, LPU encourages students to participate in internships, innovation projects, research activities and entrepreneurial ventures. The university’s “Earn Your Fee Back” initiative enables students to acquire professional work experience while pursuing their studies, strengthening their career readiness before graduation.
