Kulgam Police apprehend Lady Drug Peddler in Devsar; 2.2 kg contraband recovered

Kulgam, October 10: During patrolling at Arigutnoo near the Public Park, a police party of Police Station Devsar apprehended a woman identified as Nishta Akhtar W/O Mohammad Ashraf Mir, R/O Arigutnoo, after she allegedly attempted to flee upon noticing the police party.

Upon checking her bag, 2 kilograms and 238 grams (2.238 kg) of Charas was recovered.

Accordingly, FIR No. 73/2026 has been registered at Police Station Devsar under the relevant provisions of the NDPS Act, and further investigation has been taken up.

Kulgam Police reiterate their commitment to combating drug trafficking and eradicating the drug menace from society.
