Kashmir Timber Association Seeks Forest Minister’s Intervention for Smooth Timber Transit

Srinagar, May 15: The Kashmir Timber Association calls on Forest Minister, Javed Ahmed Rana, seeking his intervention for uniform acceptance of the E-Way Bill mechanism to ensure seamless timber transit.

The Association highlighted that some authorities are still insisting on docket-like documents, creating confusion and delays.

The Association urged issuance of clear directions to the concerned authorities for easing the transit process.

Rana assured the Association that the grievance would be resolved on a priority basis to ensure hassle-free timber transit and ease of access for the people.
