ISM distributes immunity booster among Bandipora employees

BANDIPORA, JULY 09: Indian System of Medicine (ISM) today distributed immunity booster medicines among the employees at District Development Commissioner’s office Bandipora to boost the natural immunity of the field staff. 

 Divisional Nodal Officer ISM Dr Iftikhar Gazi said the immune booster medicines are being distributed as per protocol issued by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India and following the direction of DDC Bandipora Zahoor Ahmad Mir.

Highlighting the role of immune boosters in Covid-19 pandemic, the Officer said that enhancing the body’s natural defence system (immunity) plays an important role in maintaining optimum health.

Medical Officer along with a team of doctors also aware the employees about mode of consumption and dosage of these immune-boosting medicines.

On the occasion the Officer said that the immunity booster medicine is being distributed free of cost by the Department of Indian System of Medicine. He said that besides distributing medicines the ISM doctors and paramedic staff is actively working shoulder to shoulder with the Department of Health and are effectively delivering their services. He said ISM also aware the general public about the precautions to be taken to prevent COVID19 spread.
    On the occasion the DDC apprised the crucial role of the department in containing the spread of virus.
