GMHS Bandipora celebrates 75th Republic Day with patriotic fervour

Bandipora, Jan 27: The Govt Girls Model Higher Secondary School Bandipora celebrated Republic Day in an extraordinary manner, hosting a series of inspiring events that embodied democratic values.
The day began with a spirited assembly of students, staff, and locals gathered to honour the 75th Republic Day. The school ground resonated with the "Shahnai Vadan," setting the tone for a day of reflection and celebration.
Students actively engaged in artistic endeavours and cultural programs, showcasing their talents through speeches and performances. Head of the institution, Bashir Ahmad Mir, unfurled the flag to the national anthem and delivered a patriotic speech.
He urged students to uphold democratic principles, emphasising that Republic Day serves as a reminder of responsibilities.
Addressing students as future leaders, he stressed the importance of striving for excellence and working together to build a brighter tomorrow, promoting harmony and understanding the strength of unity in diversity
The program concluded by felicitating meritorious students, participants, and a few staff members with certificates and trophies. Malik Nazir, a teacher at the institution, coordinated all program proceedings, and Mustaq Ahmad Ganie, in charge of the examination wing, presented the concluding vote of thanks.
