GLTF delegation calls on DSEK, discusses teacher’s issues

Bandipora, Feb 16: A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir General Line Teachers Forum (GLTF) led by treasurer Gowhar Ahmad Bhat met Director School Education Kashmir at the conference hall of the directorate. 

According to an official statement, a number of issues facing the teaching fraternity in general and General Line Teachers in particular were discussed in detail with the Director School Education Kashmir Dr. Tasuduk Hussain Mir.

He said the main issues which were discussed with the DSEK among others included Transfer of General Line Teachers, release of 4% DA arrears, promotions viz master grade and lecturers, freezing of posts, early release of GPF cases, release of two increments in favour of 2019 SSRB recruited teachers, earned leave for winter tutorial and covid- 19 duty.

 According to GLTF officials, on the issue of transfer of teachers Director told the delegation that in the month of March transfers will be done. He told that those teachers who have spent two years in hard zones will be transferred on priority .

 He told the delegation that 4% DA arrears will be released within few days.

The delegation thanked DSEK for the release of master grade promotion list. 

The delegation among others included Ghulam Nabi -Core Member JKGLTF Zahoor Ahmad Lone-Organisor JKGLTF Bandipora, Imtiyaz Ahamd Dar-ZP JKGLTF Quil and Mr Mohammad Waseem-senior member JKGLTF Pulwama
