Bandipora, September 19: District President, Bandipora, Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Sofi has urged the concerned authorities to take up the upgradation and proper macadamisation of the Onagam–Mirpora–Boinar Road on priority, citing the road’s importance to the local population.
In a statement, Sofi said the road is in urgent need of improvement, particularly proper macadamisation and adequate drainage facilities, to ensure safer and smoother connectivity for residents.
He appealed to the concerned Minister to intervene in the matter and extend the necessary support for taking up the road’s upgradation at the earliest.
“The road is used by a large number of people, and its improvement will greatly benefit the local population,” Sofi said, stressing the need for timely intervention.
Sofi expressed hope that the concerned authorities would consider the demand on priority and initiate necessary measures for improving the road and associated drainage infrastructure.
