Bandipora, March 13: The Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, on thursday chaired a meeting at mini secretariat to review the status of under process court cases within the district.
The meeting discussed various cases pertaining to different departments and focussed on addressing the issues related to departments.
During the meeting it was informed that out of total 145 cases, reply for 73 under process cases is pending from different concerned departments.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for timely and serious attention to all court cases from the initial stages.
He urged the officers to ensure that proper replies are submitted, based on accurate records and genuine facts.
M.A.Qadri emphasized the submission of responses for all under process cases within the stipulated time frame provided by the courts.
The Deputy Commissioner also stressed the importance of maintaining transparency and accountability in dealing with legal matters.
He directed officers to proriotize the court cases and adhere to deadlines set by the courts for submission of responses.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Zaffar Husson Shawl, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Shabir Ahmad Wani, Assistant Commissioner Development Irfan Bahadur, Litigation Officer Mudasir Ahmad, and District Officers of the concerned departments besides Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDM) Sumbal, SDM Gurez and Tehsildar Gurez, attended virtually.
