Bandipora, June 14: The 3rd Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Bandipora, organised a blood donation camp at District Hospital Bandipora on Sunday as part of its community outreach and humanitarian initiatives.

The camp was conducted to promote voluntary blood donation and support the availability of blood for patients requiring transfusions. CRPF personnel participated in the programme and donated blood to contribute to the hospital’s blood reserves.

Officials said the initiative was aimed at creating awareness about the importance of blood donation and encouraging people to come forward for the cause. They noted that regular blood donation plays an important role in meeting medical emergencies and saving lives.

The programme also highlighted the role of security forces in community welfare activities and their continued engagement with the local population beyond their operational responsibilities.

The organisers reiterated that a single unit of donated blood can help patients in critical need and urged citizens to participate in voluntary blood donation drives whenever possible.
