Career Defence School Concludes Two-Day Career Seminar in Leh, Kargil

Leh, July 3: A two-day career guidance seminar aimed at preparing students from the Union Territory of Ladakh for premier institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the National Defence Academy (NDA) concluded successfully on Friday, attracting enthusiastic participation from students in both Leh and Kargil.

The programme was organised by Career Defence School and led by its Founder and CEO, Er. Vinay Rai, along with Administrative Officer Er. Gagan Wadhwa. The event was coordinated by Khan Jahangeer and Amir Suhail.

The Leh session was attended by ADC to the Lieutenant Governor Shiekh Adil, District Planning Officer, DIET Principal S.D. Namgail, and Anchay Yagdol, Head of Department at DIET. In Kargil, the seminar was attended by Private Schools Association President Murtaza Khaleli and In-charge Chief Education Officer Dr. Sarwar Shahzad (KAS).

Addressing students in Leh, Shiekh Adil encouraged them to remain resilient in the face of challenges, saying failures should not become obstacles to achieving their goals. He stressed the importance of confidence, communication skills and consistent effort in succeeding in competitive examinations.

DIET Principal S.D. Namgail described the seminar as a meaningful initiative that would help students become aware of educational and career opportunities available at the national level.

Speaking in Kargil, Murtaza Khaleli urged students to pursue education with dedication, discipline and moral values while developing critical thinking skills and staying focused on constructive goals.

Founder and CEO Er. Vinay Rai said students from Leh and Kargil possess immense talent and require proper guidance, discipline and exposure to excel in national-level competitive examinations. He said the institution is committed to preparing students for examinations such as JEE Main, NEET, RIMC and NDA, while also focusing on personality development, leadership and nation-building.

The seminar included interactive question-and-answer sessions in both Leh and Kargil, where students sought guidance on NDA eligibility, IIT entrance preparation, hostel facilities, scholarships, physical fitness requirements and the role of artificial intelligence in future careers.

The programme was organised in collaboration with the Education Department of the Union Territory of Ladakh, with the objective of enhancing career awareness and expanding educational opportunities for students across the region.
