Bandipora, July 10: District President of Mahila Congress Bandipora, Kousar Shafeeq, participated in the Executive Meeting of the Kashmir Province Mahila Congress, where organisational matters and strategies to strengthen the party at the grassroots level were discussed.
The meeting was presided over by Alka Lamba, who emphasised the importance of women’s empowerment, strengthening the organisational structure and enhancing public outreach across Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting was also attended by Kashmir Mahila Congress Incharge Nash Nusrat, J&K Pradesh Mahila Congress President Shamima Raina, and executive members from various districts of the Kashmir province.
Speaking on the occasion, Kousar Shafeeq reiterated her commitment to strengthening the Mahila Congress in Bandipora by expanding grassroots participation, promoting women’s leadership and actively addressing issues concerning women and society.
She expressed confidence that the guidance of the national and provincial leadership would further energise the organisation and enhance its public outreach.
The meeting concluded with a resolve to intensify organisational activities across the Kashmir province and work collectively for women’s empowerment and public welfare.
