Bandipora, September 29: Bandipora defeated Baramulla in the final to win the Inter-District UT-Level U-17 Boys’ Handball Championship at S.K. Stadium, Bandipora, bringing the competition to a close on Sunday.
The hosts put up a strong performance in the title clash to secure the championship before the home crowd.
In the third-place match, Jammu defeated Udhampur to finish third in the competition.
The tournament, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, J&K, provided young players from across the Union Territory an opportunity to compete at the UT level and showcase their sporting skills.
The competition featured several days of handball action, with participating teams displaying enthusiasm, competitive spirit and sportsmanship.
