Awareness Programme on Bharat Scouts and Guides Held at GMS Prang Hajin

Hajin, June 9: An awareness programme on Bharat Scouts and Guides was organised at Government Middle School (GMS) Prang, Hajin, for students and teachers of Cluster Madwan, aimed at promoting the values and objectives of the scouting movement.

 

The programme was conducted by a team of experts from Bharat Scouts and Guides and witnessed active participation from students and teaching staff.

 

The event began with a welcome address by Headmaster of GMS Prang, Muntazir Muneer, who highlighted the importance of co-curricular activities in nurturing discipline, leadership and character among students. He welcomed the resource persons and participants and emphasized the role of such programmes in the holistic development of young learners.

 

The awareness session was led by Peerzada Mohammad Mubarak Baba and Mohmad Rajab, who spoke about the significance of scouting and guiding in everyday life. The speakers highlighted key values promoted by the movement, including selfless service, teamwork, discipline, leadership, patriotism and community welfare.

 

During the interactive session, students and teachers engaged with the resource persons, raising questions and discussing the practical application of scouting principles in academic and personal life. The speakers encouraged participants to actively take part in scouting activities and contribute positively to society.

 

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Nasir Ahmad Wagay, who expressed appreciation to the resource persons for their informative session and acknowledged the efforts of all stakeholders involved in organising the event.

 

Participants described the programme as informative and motivating, with organisers expressing hope that it would encourage greater involvement of students in the Bharat Scouts and Guides movement
