Bandipora, June 03: A drug store was Thursday closed by the authorities in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district for illegally doing COVID rapid tests.
According to reports, a medical shop located in front of Covid level-II hospital Pazalpora in Bandipora was closed by the authorities after complaints by locals that he is unauthorisedly doing covid tests.
Acting on the complaints, a team of officers of the health department paid a surprise visit to the shop and allegedly found the complaint correct. Accordingly, the medical shop was sealed. An official accompanying the inspection team said that the drug store was closed by the district authorities after the locals complained that the owner of the store is a dental technician and illegally running the medical store and is conducting COVID tests.
