Awantipora, May 22: Continuing its efforts under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, an awareness programme was conducted at Government High School Bathnoor in collaboration with members of PROANG.The programme aimed to educate students and members of the community about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of collective efforts in building a drug free society.
During the programme, participants were sensitized about the social, psychological, and legal consequences of substance abuse. The speakers emphasized the need for active community participation and encouraged youth to stay away from narcotics and contribute towards a healthier and safer society.
Meanwhile, as part of the ongoing drive against narcotics, a narcotics related raid was conducted at Sail, Ghat Tokina. The operation was carried out as part of sustained efforts to curb drug related activities and strengthen the fight against the menace of narcotics in the area.
Police remain committed to continuing awareness initiatives and taking stringent action against those involved in drug-related activities under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan.
