Srinagar, April 29: Prince Parvez, General Secretary (Organisation) of the Awami Ittehad Party, on Tuesday welcomed the grant of interim bail to Engineer Rashid by the Delhi High Court.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Convener, Parvez described the development as a step towards justice and said it reflects the functioning of the legal process.
He expressed hope that the interim relief would lead to a fair and transparent adjudication of the case.
The AIP leader said that people in Jammu and Kashmir view such developments with optimism and stressed the importance of upholding democratic rights and civil liberties.
Parvez also stated that the Awami Ittehad Party would continue to advocate for justice through democratic and peaceful means.
