Bandipora, June 27: JKNC Constituency Incharge Bandipora, Advocate Nazir Malik, has expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for approving ₹5 crore for the beautification and civic development of Bandipora town.
In a statement, Malik said the immediate release of ₹2 crore as the first phase reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening urban infrastructure and improving public amenities in the town.
He said the sanctioned works include beautification of Bandipora town, construction and upgradation of lanes and drains, protection walls for graveyards, improvement of essential civic infrastructure and other public welfare projects.
Malik described the approval as a significant step towards improving civic amenities and enhancing the quality of life of residents.
He said the initiative demonstrates the government’s commitment to inclusive development and expressed hope that more developmental projects would be undertaken for Bandipora in the coming months.
