ACD Ganderbal conducts extensive tour of Block Sherpathri, reviews progress of various developmental schemes & interacted with the PRIs of the area
GANDERBAL, FEBRUARY 10: The Assistant Commissioner Development Ganderbal, Dr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat, on Thursday conducted an extensive tour of Block Sherpathri of District Ganderbal. Later a meeting of all the officers/officials of the Block was held at Block Headquarter Sherpathri to review the progress of various works being implemented under various developmental schemes of the Department in general and under Area Development Plan (DDC/BDC/PRI Grants), MGNREGA & PMAY-G in particular.
During the meeting the Block Development Officer Sherpathri briefed the chair about the Panchayat Halqa-wise performance of the Block. A detailed discussion was held regarding targets and achievements in this regard.
The ACD hailed the role of both the all the officer/officials of the Block in achieving a considerable progress w.r.t. all the sectors. He stressed upon them of to work with full dedication so as to excel during these two months of fag end of the financial year 2021-22.
He emphasized on working in mission mode to meet the desired targets and work meticulously while taking PRIs on board right from the step of planning upto the level of execution of all developmental projects.
Later, ACD Ganderbal conducted an interactive cum grievance redressal session with the PRIs of the Block consisting of BDC Chaiperson and all other members of Block Development Council Sherpathri. He appreciated the role of PRIs for facilitating the department in achieving the desired targets viz-a-viz the execution of various developmental projects.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Hon'ble BDC Chairperson Sherpathri alongwith all the members, Block Development Officer Sherpathri, Mr. Imtesaal Rasool, Assistant Engineer REW Sherpathri, Planning officials, Junior Engineers, Panchayat Secretaries, Technical Assistants, GRSs & other ministerial staff of the Block.
