Apni Party celebrates ‘foundation day’ at Sonawari Constituency
Sonawari, March 08: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party on Friday organised a grand function to celebrate its foundation day in Sonawari Constituency.
An official spokesperson said the function was organised to get connected with the masses through these celebrations. “Also, the party wanted people’s input to know how to give a firm push to the party’s three-point agenda, which is the restoration of statehood, holding of assembly polls, and women empowerment —as this day is also being celebrated as ‘International women’s day’, ” the statement reads.
While speaking on the occasion Jammu Kashmir Apni Party Vice President Usman Majid announced it's commitment to contest all five parliamentary seats of Jammu and Kashmir in the upcoming elections in the UT.
Fueled by the overwhelming support from the public of Jammu and Kashmir, he said that the party is resolute in its mission to represent the aspirations and concerns of the people independently.
On the occasion Majid said that that It is disheartening to note that certain political entities are making baseless claims of having the support of Apni Party. We categorically denounce these assertions as shameless and misleading.
He said Jammu Kashmir Apni Party stands firm in its decision to pursue the electoral process independently, devoid of any affiliations or alliances with other parties.
Our decision is rooted in the trust and confidence bestowed upon us by the people of Jammu and Kashmir. We believe in a democratic process that truly reflects the will of the people and ensures their voices are heard without distortion or manipulation, Majid added
Former legislator said that Jammu Kashmir Apni Party remains dedicated to addressing the diverse needs of our constituents. “We are committed to fostering development, promoting unity, and advocating for the rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir”.
Speaking on the occasion Party in-charge Sonawari Constituency Imtiyaz Parry asserted that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are poised to impart a resounding lesson to traditional political parties that have historically exploited their trust under the guises of Autonomy and Self-Rule.
Parry expressed confidence that the forthcoming elections would serve as a catalyst for change, ushering in a new era of responsible and responsive governance.
