Srinagar, Feb 27: As a part of ongoing process of educating the resident population, Indian Army organised a ‘Career Counseling Lecture was for School Students’, Bihota village of Doda district on Tuesday.
“During the lecture, Teacher, Government Primary School, Goha elucidated various points about government schemes. He educated them in detail on various schemes like PMKVY, Financial assistance for skill training, Vidya Kaushal and Skill Development for minorities etc,” a defence spokesperson said in a statement.
He said that the initiative was undertaken to educate youth and to prevent them from being misguided, choose a healthy and progressive life and it was appreciated by the youths.
“ A total of 40 students attended the career counselling lecture. All students remarked. These kinds of initiatives will help to mould the young generations to make their choice in future as a responsible citizen,” he said.
