Bandipora Feb 23: The Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Shakeel ul Rehman Rather on Friday chaired a meeting of concerned officers for formulation of convergence plan under MGNREGA 2024-25.
The meeting discussed various strategies for optimising the implementation of MGNREGA through effective convergence with other developmental schemes and initiatives.
With a focus on enhancing socio-economic well-being, the Deputy Commissioner emphasised the importance of leveraging synergies between MGNREGA and other programmes to maximise their impact and ensure sustainable outcomes.
The DC stressed removing bottlenecks and enhancing coordination among various stakeholders to maximise the impact of MGNREGA interventions.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the concerned officers to identify the focal areas to be considered while formulating the convergence plan for the district.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Mohd Ashraf, ADC Umar Shafi Pandit, ACD Mumtaz Ahmad, CPO Mohd Maqbool, CAHO, Executive Engineers, Representatives from Horticulture, Agriculture, and other concerned departments.
