Srinagar, 24 Jan: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and MP from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have condoled the demise of Imam-o-Khateeb Qadeem Qaziyar Masjid Hafiz Molvi Lateef Ahmad.
The duo as per the statement termed Lateef Sahib's passing as a great loss for the Muslim Umah, saying the deceased will be remembered for his insightful knowledge on the matters of theology and spirituality.
They prayed for peace to the departed soul in the highest echelons of Jannat and fortitude to his bereaved family & admirers in their hour of grief and loss.
Among others Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Senior Leaders Mubarak Gul, Shameema Firdous; YNC Provincial President Kashmir Salman Ali Sagar have also extended condolences to the bereaved household and prayed for peace to the departed soul in Janat.
