Srinagar, Jan 4: Father of Senior Journalist Sameer Showkin Passed away after prolonged illness at his home in Heff Shirmal area of south Kashmir's Shopian District, family members said here on Thursday.
Ghulam Nabi Showkin passed away on Thursday evening after a prolonged illness at his home in Heff Shirmal Shopian. Meanwhile, Kashmir Convener expresses condolences with the deceased family and prays for the Jannah to the departed soul.
During a condolence meeting the newspaper staff extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Sheikh Saleem, Editor-in -Chief Kashmir Convener expressed condolence with hthe bereaved family and prayed for the peace to departed soul and patience to the bereaved family.
"I extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved son Sameer Showkin over the sad demise of his father. “In this hour of grief, I stand in solidarity with the bereaved family, praying that Allah grants them the strength to endure the pain of this irreparable loss,” he added.
