Bandipora, Jan 10: Senior Congress leader Advocate Sheikh Farooq Habeeb on Tuesday chaired a meeting of party workers to review preparation for upcoming Bharat Jodo Yatra.
The meeting was held at Sumbal tehsil in which congress workers participated in large numbers.
During the meeting party leaders discussed several measures to be taken to ensure a successful yatra.
The meeting discussed route plan, transportation arrangements and other related arrangements to be put in place to ensure maximum participation of the people.
The party leaders informed that they have launched an awareness campaign in all the villages to inform the people about the importance of Bharat Jodo Yatra being led by Rahul Gandhi.
Sheikh Farooq Habeeb said a large number of people from across Bandipora are eager to participate in this historic event.
He urged the workers to ensure maximum participation of the people and ensure all arrangements are made to ensure smooth travel of the participants.
