Srinagar, Mar 01 : The Government of India has appointed Dr. Darakshan Andrabi as chairperson of Muslim Waqf Board for Jammu & Kashmir.
According to the notification issued today, Andrabi has been appointed under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 14 of The Waqf Act-1995.
Under this clause, a chairperson of the Board is appointed by the Centre and States—(KNO)
