orders to hold the immediate election. Massive rigging exposed

Srinagar, February 09: The recently held election in Carpet Export Promotion Council has been declared illegal by the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles,  Govt of India.

Finding the gross violations with Malafide intentions in the election process, the Govt of India has observed the multiple breaches in a systematic bad intention by CEPC, mentioned in the order of judgement announced by Shantmanu IAS Development Commissioner, a copy of which is lying with Kashmir Convener.

The election of 17 members committee of Administration (CoA) including 3 members from Kashmir exposed a massive rigging in the election process and termed it intentional rigging.

A team headed by Sanjay Gupta a (renowned exporter) from UP, presented the observation of gross violations before the office of the Development Commissioner Handicrafts Govt of India.

After the thorough investigation and based on the documents and records submitted by carpet Export Promotion Council, a comprehensive decision was announced. Shantmunu IAS has further ordered for conducting an immediate election for all 18 Members Committee.

It was in 1982 when CEPC was establishment by the Ministry of Textiles and since then this is for the first time that such a massive rigging in election was exposed in the council.
