Bandipora, 28 Jan: Two brothers drowned while extracting sand from Jehlum in North Kashmir district of Baramulla on Friday morning.
An official told that a group of men were extracting sand from the banks of river Jehlum at Jahama in Baramulla on Friday morning when a boat capsized. The victims have been identified as Hilal Ahmad Malla and Naseer Ahmad Malla residents of Bandipora.
He said that after receiving the information search operation was launched to trace out both brothers. JK Police, Army and locals have joined hands to lunch the rescue operation
