CU Postpones Exam: Student’s Body thank Lt Governor
Bandipora, January 15: J&K Students Association today expressed gratitude to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for his personal and immediate intervention in resolving issue of students studying in Cluster University Srinagar Kashmir.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Convener, President of the Association Mushtaq Habeeb said the students were in great dilemma because of the unfair decision of the university to conduct offline examinations, despite prevailing situation due to third wave of Covid-19 pandemic.
According to University authorities all the exams of Cluster University Srinagar scheduled from 17th of this month have been deferred now till further orders, in view of the surge in COVID cases and revised schedule will be notified separately.
He said that, association appreciated prompt and quick response from Lieutenant Governor Office as they have paid its valuable attention towards the students who will have a sigh of relief in these testing times. The association welcomed the decision of Cluster university Srinagar for considering students’ demand as first priority. "The decision is totally in favour of students. In the tough times, this decision is a welcome and appreciable step & will free students from anxiety depression and rejoice parents".
