Army conducts random medical checkups of civilians in Gurez Valley
Bandipora, January 13: Indian Army stationed in Kanzalwan area of snowbound Gurez Valley on Thursday conducted medical checkups of civilians.
AN official spokesperson said by continuing the initiative started on 22 Dec 21 during the Medical Camp, a decision was taken to care for the village elderly during the routine area domination patrols.
Therefore today in continuance a " Medic on Foot" was carried out in Kanzalwan area on Thursday.
During this the BFNA monitored the blood pressure and SPO² of village elders. Medicines for common illness were distributed and safety measures from Covid 19 were also emphasised upon during the interaction.
Elders blessed Army for this good gesture and ensured the bond between Awam and Army will remain ever strong.
