Bandipora, Apr 03: Authorities on Saturday ordered closure of a local educational institution in Sumbal area of North Kashmir's Bandipora district, after two of its students tested positive for the pathogen.
An official said that during a mass Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT), which were conducted in different schools of the sub-division two students of Girls High Secondary School Sumbal have returned positive for the Covid.
He said that the institution will remain shut for the next five days (including Sunday) as a precautionary measure to contain the further spread of the virus.
