Fake job racket busted by Bandipora police in Sumbal, Three persons arrested,FIR registered*

Bandipora 18 March: Bandipora police busted a fake job racket in Sumbal and arrested 03 persons.Based on a specific information regarding innocent youths being misguided and duped by a group of people on the pretext of providing jobs in various government departments, FIR No. 23/2021 U/S 120B, 420 IPC was registered in police station Sumbal and investigation taken up.

Taking cognizance of the case a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was constituted on the directions of SSP Bandipora Sh Rahul Malik-IPS comprising of DYSP PC Hajin, DO PP Ajas and  investigating officer of PS Hajin and PP Ajas.The team immediately swung in to action and arrested three accused persons namely Irfan Ahmad Wani S/o Mohd Ashraf Wani R/o SK Bala
Manzoor Ahmad Pandit S/o Gh Mohiuddin pandit R/o SK Bala & Bilal Ahmad Dar S/o Gh Nabi Dar R/o Asham.

Preliminary inquiry revealed that the gang was involved in luring innocent youths to pay money in lieu of providing them jobs in different goverment departments. Original sets of testimonials and some admit cards of candidates, whom the group was trying to dupe have been recovered. Further investigation of the case is going on.
