Srinagar, Dec 16: Two youth had gone missing from Natipora area of central Kashmiri’s Srinagar district.
Sources said that two youth identified as Irfan Ahmad Sofi Son of Nazir Ahmad Sofi and Bilal Manzoor Bhat Son of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat both residents of Natipora Srinagar.
Irfan is a driver and Bilal is a shopkeeper by profession, both are neighbors.
Family members of both the missing youth told news agencies that on 14th December, when militants shot dead a PSO of PDP leader Haji Parvaiz, on the same evening their sons had gone missing from their homes sparking fears of them having joined militant ranks.
We have registered missing reports in Police post Chanapora, they said.
Meanwhile, family members of both the missing persons have appealed their sons to return back. A police official said that we are verifying all the angles and nothing can’t be ruled out at this time. More details will be followed.
