BSF Organises Free Medical Camp in remote village of Gurez valley
Bandipora, Nov 07:A free Medical Camp under civic action programme was organized by Border security force (BSF) 115 BN on Saturday in Gujran Tulail area of Gurez in north kashmir's Bandipora district.
The camp was organized by 115-BN BSF at Government Hospital, Vill- Gujran, Tulail Valley (Neeru),of District Bandipora in presence of Sh. P K Sharma, Comdt of 115 Bn BSF under supervision of Dr. Savitoz Pal, AC/MO 115 Bn BSF, Dr. Manoj Kumar, AC/MO of 101 Bn BSF & Dr. Mayur Mandrah, Maj of 51 RR, Medicine amounting- Rs. 50000/- was distributed to patients of Vill- Gujran, Baduab, Abdulan, Chakwali & Angaikot, Tulail valley (Neeru) of distt- Bandipur & more then – 245 villagers (Male- 107, Female- 71 & Children- 67) got benefited from the medical camp.
An official spokesperson said that a large number of villagers participated in the medical camp during which medical checkups were conducted and free medicines were also distributed.
An officer said that keeping in view of covid-19 pendemic proper SOP's were followed during the medical camp.
He also said that they received a overwhelming response from the border villagers who were provided free medical aid during the day long camp. (PTK)
