Army, DH organizes Blood donation camp in Bandipora
Bandipora, September 28: Bandipora Rashtriya Rifles and District Hospital Bandipora on Monday organised a Blood donation camp at District Hospital Complex amid the ongoing COVID19 pandemic.
An army officer said that the donation camp was organised while keeping up with the Humsaya concept and tradition of standing tall in the hour of need.
The medical team of Bandipora RR along with medical team of district hospital headed by Dr Bashir Ahmad, CMO and specialist team of pathologist, doctors & nursing technicians from LD Hospital, Srinagar conducted the Blood Donation Camp.
A total of 110 individuals both including Army personnel and civilians counterparts voluntarily participated in the event. All the norms related to blood donation as well as COVID-19 pandemic were adhered to during the camp.
He said the locals, officials of district administration and team of doctors extended their gratitude to the Indian Army for showing such humanly approach and further improving the bond between Awaam and Jawan.
