Adv Malik Mushtaq elected as president Bandipora Bar Association

Bandipora, Sep 11 (KNO): Bandipora Bar association on Friday elected advocate Malik Mushtaq as its president during election at district court complex in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

A total of 41 members cast their vote during the election for district Bar Association.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that advocate Malik secured 26 votes to be elected as president while the other contender for the post secured just 15 votes.

Moreover, advocate Asif Malik was elected as vice-president by securing 23 votes. His rival secured only 18 votes. Advocate Sameer was elected as secretary.

On this occasion Advocate Malik Mushtaq said that “He will do his job honestly to uphold the dignity and respect of the lawyers. I will work for the betterment of this association,” he said.

The election was and conducted by advocate Iqbal Rubbani and advocate Qaiser Bashir—(KNO)
