Bandipora, September 06: Panar Volleyball Tournament-2020 entered it's final day today. Tournament which was played on knockout basis was conducted by Bandipora Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Watlab Sector.
The nail biting final saw team from Chakreshipora winning the title and the runners-up title was bagged by team from Ahim Shrief. Aseem Baba was declared Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
The winning team was presented with volleyball kit containing volleyballs, nets and jerseys while runners-up and man of the match bagged a cash prize of Rs 2000 and Rs 1000 respectively.
While interacting with the Company Commnader over a cup of tea, Sarpanchs and Panchs who also witnessed the match conveyed their gratitude and appreciated Indian Army's role in promoting sports in the area and spreading peace and harmony.
